Al
Al (James’ father) grew up in the outdoors of Northern Ontario. After moving west 25 years ago he has enjoyed many of the fishing and hunting opportunities that BC offers. He spends most of his summer days on the water fishing halibut and salmon before joining the rest of our crew chasing BC big game. His most notable trophy to date is 9X9 mule deer that scored an outstanding 202 net non-typical!

Sam
Samantha is Chris’ lovely wife. She took a little different path to the woods than Chris did; in fact she had no experience with the outdoors or hunting before they were married back in 1996. Since then she became interested in archery and the outdoors as a way to spend more time with Chris. Little did we know what a talent she had for shooting. She has worked hard and is now a 3 time National Champion with her bow. She also got interested in hunting a couple years ago and has taken a couple deer and 2 really nice bears in the last 2 years, one a cinnamon and the other a toad with a skull measuring just shy of 20”. Sam is really hoping to take her first big game animal with her bow this year.

Michael
Michael is Chris and Sam’s son. At 7 years old his accomplishments with his bow are staggering. He has rewritten the record book for the 9 and under category bringing down numerous provincial and National championships. He is also quite proficient with his model 7 youth in .260, having no problems ringing the gong at 500 meters. He has been accompanying Chris in the woods since he was 1 ½ years old and has been in on over 20 successful hunts including moose, deer and bear. By the time he reaches the legal hunting age here in B.C. (10 yrs old) he will have all the woods creatures running for a place to hide!
